Davis Cup
Cyprus has been participating in this international and prestigious event since 1985, soon after 1981 when the current Davis cup format was inaugurated.
It is currently in group 2 of the European African Zone. The local ties are held either at the National Tennis Center in Nicosia or at the Spyros Kyprianou arena in Limassol always attracting huge crowds.
