AVAILABLE POSITION OF NATIONAL TENNIS COACH

AT THE NATIONAL TENNIS CENTRE (CTF)

 

The Cyprus Tennis Federation accepts applications to fill the position of the National Coach at the National Tennis Centre.

 

The tasks and responsibilities of the Federal Trainer are analyzed in the proposed contract which the interested parties may receive from the OAS Offices.

 

Qualifications required

a.  High School Graduate and a recognized Diploma in Tennis.

b.  Cypriot applicants should have fulfilled their military service.

c.  Previous experience of at least 5 years in the training of high-level athletes.

d.  Satisfactory level of playability, so that he/she can train athletes of all levels. Distinctions in local.

or international championships with remarkable results will be considered an additional qualification.

e. Very good knowledge in the use of computers and programs related to the sport and the conduct of tournaments.

f.  Experience in organizing and conducting tournaments, good knowledge of relevant regulations and ability to meet specific tasks eg. Referee.

g.  Character integrity, organizational skills, personality, initiative and responsibility, right judgment, proven ability to cooperate with all players in the sport, love for the sport and athletes, transmissibility and teaching skills.

h.  Evidence of a good knowledge of Greek and / or English.

 

The salary will be up to € 3000 gross per month depending on qualifications and experience. Please note that organizing and supervising the  tournaments  will be free of charge for the Cyprus Tennis Federation.

 

The duration of the contract will be one year with the right to renew for a further year on the same terms provided that the two parties agree to continue their cooperation.

 

The CTF will proceed to the appointment of the national coach from 27/8/2018.
