KOA Support System
The Cyprus sports organization in order to achieve better representation of Cyprus athletes at world level competition has devised a table where athletes may fall into three categories A ,B and C.
The table is also in documents and forms and explains the weighing given to the three categories.
Athletes that fall into these three categories, receive extensive financial support to continue their success in their field and to the represent Cyprus in the world sport arenas.

The ESYAA is the National Sport Development Support Project and established by the CSO in 1998. It’s aim is to support the development of sports organized through clubs and associations, In essence it is a specific national plan aiming that Cyprus sports should in future have their own identity through developmental processes.
ESYAA must exist in establishing a particular development project not only through building infrastructure, but also because children have individual training programs that must be respected.
These children acquire specific and specialized programs and must be assisted.
The design of ESYAA is providing essentially scientific support parallel to the coaches training on issues related to psychology, pedagogy and coaching training. Additionally, the plan included the implementation of specific models in coaching in sport, which were based on scientific data, survey data and applications.
